Week 2

This week I started thinking about what type of film I would want to create. I researched a list of the top 10 film genres of 2014, which would hopefully give me an idea of what genremy final production should be: Action(70 releases) Adventure(49 releases) Biography(20 releases) Comedy(135 releases) Crime(37 releases) Documentary(39 releases) Drama(206 releases) Family(21 releases) Fantasy(20 releases) Horror(46 releases) Out out these 10 genres, I found that a documentary style film is something that I would like to do. Considering the elemets and conventions of say a action film, ot would be harder for me to follow that as I do not have all the tools to do so. I personaly feel that a documentary film would be the best option as I am fasinated about the idea of capturing reality. I will continue to do some research existing films which would then lead me more ideas.
